Is it a mistake to check the book reviews before I’ve finished it? I read a lengthy 1-star review that has me doubting the reasons I have enjoyed the story thus far. There are so many factual inaccuracies (which I didn’t realize, bc I’m not super familiar with the original stories), and then some misogynistic, homophobic and sexist ideas - all of which I hadn’t noticed much of 😭😭 sigh
