I have learnt many new things from this book. Mostly ideas I can use teaching Kindergarten. Also ideas I have already had which frustrate me have been confirmed. The World of education is a mixed up place. In kindy I teach children to be independent and proactive and follow their learning interests. In their next year at school they are told to ask before doing anything and told what to learn.
