Well, reading it in French was a good idea. I am enjoying it and learning new, important words, such as eyebrow and eyelashes. I'm a bit annoyed by the focus on her purity, innocence and virginity, especially as a contrast to his Don Juan-ness. It's okay to be inexperienced, but virginity is not the most valuable or attractive thing in a woman.
