In my last reading I lot of sad things happened to Finley. First of all Erin for some reason does not want to see Finley. Then he learns she is not at this hospital anymore. I feel really bad for Finley, he has lost so much now. I think that something good will happen to Finley soon. His bad luck must run out, right?

I am really starting to worry about Erin. I think that Rod may have done something bad to someone who got angry and wanted to get back at him. Some crazy people in the real world will do crazy things to get back at people. I am also worried that Finley and Erin will never get out of Bellmont.

Erin just got in a car crash and she knows she will never be able to play again. This must be very hard for Erin because basketball is her life and her hope to get out of Bellmont. Mr. Wennik told me and Chris about a boy from Phillips Andover who was an amazing athlete who got hurt. He became depressed but overcame this tragedy and now works at Avon Old Farms. I hope Erin can overcome this horrible moment.

When Russ shows up to school wearing a crazy outfit composed of a silver helmet and a gold cape. No one really cared because of how great of a basketball player he was. At most schools I have gone to it does matter what you wear no matter how good you are at sports. I think they do not really care because basketball is their life in this little town. That is what I think about this topic.

Bellmont basketball just won against Pennsville which is a huge win for them because they are the only other good team. The reason they won was because Boy 21 played when Finley was playing bad. Finley is now feeling bad because Russ is on a whole different playing field than him. I understand how Finley feels he tries so hard and wants to be the best but he is just not a talented as Russ is. Those are my thought

In the last reading Finley's team wins their first game. Then in the next game the team they are playing double teams Terrell. So Finley is the guy who will score. The pressure get to his head and cant make shots. This happens to many athletes but this is also what defines them. Finley does not like being in the spotlight for some reason. That is what I think about my last reading.

In my past reading we learned a lot about Russ and Finley. Russ actually was playing bad during practice to try to let Finley get the spot on the team because he did not want to play. Also Russ, Wes and Finley create their own book group where they just read Harry Potter. Finley is a really nice guy for helping Wes out and you could tell these 3 are really gonna be friends.

In my past reading of boy 21 I now believe that Coach told Finley to help Russ for only basketball. He has gotten very flustered that Russ does not want to play basketball. The thing is that Finley does not know if Russ will show up for the first practice. If he does Finley will probably lose his starting job. This is something that happens to athletes all over the world. You can control anyone else except you.

We just learned some interesting things about Boy 21. First of all we learned about why Russ freaked out at the IMAX Theatre. Russ and his father went down to Florida to see the Discovery launch. This experience was on of his favorite memories. This must have been very emotional for Russ because if this happened to me I would have felt the same way. I really like this book and cant wait to see what happens next.
