The last final chapters of TKAM clearly show the growth of Scout and Jem. To being attacked by a now proven criminal, witnessing a murder, and understanding and letting go of Boo and welcoming Nathan, while managing to stay a kid. This shows how mature the two are even without a mother. The last couple chapters also show that Bob Ewell was doing his best to get revenge on Atticus, silently proving he was guilty.
