i keep trying to finish this book, but i'm not sure how much more of the author's profoundly disgusting adulation of the male body i can take. this book just proves to me how unhealthy teenage relationships truly are.

this book is immensely better than its predecessor. i was originally turned off by the author's ego and blatant worship of nonexistent male personas, but i'm finding myself relating to the story and characters a little more as i read on. i'm not looking forward to edward coming back.
