Jessie and her friends went on a trip with Al since Al had a car with boats they decided to go to the Grand Canyon for river rafting. Before they went they decided to ditch Al, take his car and make their way to paradise and enjoy their lives. When they finally get there, with help from Freddy they get the boats in the water. They start on their journey downriver, and have to get somewhere 200 miles in 10 days.

I've finished Downriver. At the end of the book I found out that Star is now living with Jessie, and that Jessie is getting along with her family again and are living happily ever after.

Jessie and her friends ditched Al again after he set them up with the Park Rangers and tried to get them. Jessie and her friends thought fast and took Al's boats and went downriver.

Al caught them, Jessie and her friends ditched him to steal his car and boats to get away from him and he caught back up. What is going to happen next?

Jessie is a sophomore in high school. He feels like his Dad hates him by sending him to a juvenile camp he has already been to before. His dad says that he loves him even though he is sending him away saying its best for him when he knows he just wants to get rid of him and be with his wife.
