When Finley goes to see Erin at the hospital, the waiting room manager says that she does not want to see him anymore. She even sends him a letter that says now to come back to the hospital and visit her. Russ makes Finley a galaxy in his room and they sit together and watch stars. Russ has been doing REALLY well emotionally over te past few days and he feels bad about taking Finley's spot. Finley's life is the same.

They do this when Russ takes Finley to a secret place where they can go watch stars together. For the first time, Finley is talking to Mr. Gore about important things. I feel as though Finley has finally begun to realize that Mr. Gore is a good man who just wants to help him. During the basket ball game, Finley decides that he would rather go and see Erin then play in the game. So he quits the team. When Finley is at the hospital, he sits next to Erin, who is asleep and thinks about all the time they had.

I feel so bad for Erin that she broke and shattered her leg because she can't have a career in basket ball now. I also feel very bad for her because I think that someone tried to do this to her intentionally. Coach Watts seems to be worried about Russ more then he is worried about Erin. Erin Is doing really well in her game and she is scoring shots after shots. Erin and Finley smile at each other and Finley notices that she is wearing the number 18, which is his new number. When Finley sees this, he gets very emotional. When Finley gets home from watching Erin play, he bathes Pop. Pop is very supportive to Finley and he tells him how he knows that Finley tries his best at everything he ever does.

Finley and Erin see each other in gym halls but never actually talk to each other. It must suck for both of them to have to break up for the basket ball season. Coach seems to be mad at Finley during the second practice. In chapter twenty-four, Coach says, "keep shooting,..... get all your misses out today, save your baskets for tomorrow" (Boy21 p.128). I am enjoying the book SO much! Its been my third favorite book I have aver read and I a sad that I have already finished it. I love the characters and how they evolve to question each other and their relationship within one another. I hope the book will be made into a movie and all our seventh grade classes can watch it during our periods.

Russ and Finley seem to do the same routine every day. They practice, they go to school, they do their homework, and they read Harry Potter. They finish reading harry potter and watch the movie with Wes over at his house. Wes' favorite rap group is called N.E.R.D. Russ and Finley seem to be around each other more. Especially now that they have a new friend, Russ.

Russ seems to be there for finely more often not. Especially when he yells at the kid that called Finley a rabbit. Erin and Finely have some time on their roof alone and I think this is good for them because they don;t get this often. Russ is bonding with Finley VERY fast. This last chapter was a bit awkward at times. Especially when Russ yelled that he did not want to watch the space IMAX movie anymore. Why did this happen. I am sure that It MUST have something to do with his obsession about space. I hope that Russ will not ever talk about his space obsession and that he thinks he came from space again. If he does he could get bullied and beaten up. Especially by Terrell.
