Honestly the main storyline is quite interesting so far, i’d say that focusing on Monique for certain chapters was a huge mistake coming from the author however. It becomes clear that Monique is supposed to be seen as the main character which doesn’t work since the whole plot focuses around Evelyn’s life.

Im not going to lie so far this book isn’t nearly as captivating as people brought it up to be. I can see the appeal obviously but i don’t know that i’ll be able to really let myself flow throughout the story..
