Currently more books are being banned right now than in any other period of history. To call this book timely is an understatement. I loved the resiliency of the kids who fought back in this book.

I did struggle, however, with Amy Anne’s tense relationships with her sisters…so much fighting and yelling! Could’ve done without that part of the plot.
