The story was dull, so was the narrative.
It’s especially awkward for a Chinese native speaker to read this novel, since many of the words could have been substituted with equivalent English words while the author chose to use pinyin, which seems unnecessary and embarrassing.
I thought oaky maybe it’ll turn out to be great and so I wait and read until I reach 50% when I cannot endure it anymore. I quit!
