Though at first Gabriella's severe pride and independence was nauseating, I now see that this vice/ virtue is bringing about important twists in the story. Way to go Perkins!

Gabriella's kind of exasperating, and everyday ship procedures and life gets kind of boring too, but I'm good.

In spite of detailed action about pirate ship battling and sailing, it was clear and unboring--- it's been great and will be great!

Finished I'll Wind, starting Dead Reckoning. The slavery and misogyny is abominable, but it's such an interesting? exciting? read that it's not totally depressing. I hope the girl, Klara, and Jan run away free soon. They just have to. What a find!

It's reading as great as the summary--- just what I love!
