Losing motivation to finish. Some of the later chapters look better, but currently the book feels overly historical and doesn't touch on the personal experience nearly as much as I had hoped.

👍 A bit heavy on the history of the camps and somewhat lacking in Solzhenitsyn’s personal experience, but perhaps that will change soon

A powerful read. Solzhenitsyn's prose is exhilarating. His intuitive command of psychology is admirable. Intend to march forward.
