I have registered as a reader at The British Library and will be reading all four volumes of Winston Churchill's 'A History of the English Speaking Peoples'. He wrote the books over 30 years (even during the world wars) but didnt publish them until the last decade of his life. It was something of a outgoing goal of his, to finish this lively but accurate narrative of his/my civilization and its retrospective legacy.
