I received this book from a Goodreads Giveaway. I’ll be honest, I would have never read it otherwise based off the back of the book, as it obviously has racial stuff in it and I am so over race being a topic in books. That being said, I enjoyed the book. There definitely was race as an issue but I loved how defined the two main characters were and how multiple points of view were always bantering off each other.
