Ummm I’m getting pretty irritated with the slow moving pace and unlikable main character…is it worth it to finish it or should I just read spoilers and move on to the 2nd book that everyone swears is so much better?

So far this girl is “special” with no explanation as to why. Everything feels so unrealistic and she is soooo annoying. :( really wanted to like this one but kinda feel like giving up.
