Anja Insta-love drives me nuts. "I know I've only given you my order for an extra-large combo meal but I think you're the one I've waited for all my life." I can see saying that to the combo meal but never the person ringing up my order.

To answer your earlier update on this book, it contains a ton of sex. That's why I dropped it from my own TBR. Insta-love and endless shagging are two of my pet peeves.

is mee... kissa does it? damn. at least it wasn't instant love, just a 'spark'. humph. endless smex was what made me hate Laid Bare so much.

=D what do you mean? you've never said that before? well, does that make me weird then? ehehehe.
i am so going to say that one day, and then the person will be looking up at me like i'm insane, then they'd see me talking to the food... i wonder if that would make them think i'm even more insane or less.
have you ever thought of going to McDonald's and when they ask you "What's your order?" you say, "one chip." i dunno why i want to do that.

Anja It may not be insta-love but from my understanding of the book based on other friends' comments, the hero knows the heroine is the one and so much better than all the beautiful women he's been dating. He disparages them against her.

I'm okay with characters feeling a strong attraction right away but want them to spend lots more time together before knowing someone is the one. Or even better, get to know them before declaring they are so much better than who you dated before. Especially guys that date one type of woman and then instantly fall for the one that is the opposite. "I've always been attracted to blondes with big boobs but now I know I've met my soul mate because you have dark hair and a flat chest."

is mee... kissa yeah...
damn.

it's very... 'meh' right now. i don't think i'm half way yet and there's been either 4 or 5 sex scenes. i don't know if that's normal for an erotica but at least it's on 2 stars rather than 1. Laid Bare was about sex, this one is about their relationship... with a lot of sex. there is a difference, so i'll probably end up giving it 2 stars.
