Growing on me. While I find the whole "look at me, I'm trying to be a writer" theme sort of trite and obnoxious anymore, the truth is that he really is a very good writer, despite a definitive lack of imagination.

So far I'm enjoying his writing style. I'm particularly fond of his uniquely honest perspective. Not totally won over yet, however. At least, not to the level of bukowski's high praises.
