The journey towards seeking one's own unstanding of how spiritual masters emulate teachings of their teachers and auliya is so satisfying when one lets go and just follows the sheikh. Provided of course the chosen path and teacher are truly authentic. So far the author's journey is taking him through Jordan and its many corners in the 1980s. Makes me want to read Reliance of the Traveller :)
