Today I read chapters 23 and 24 of The Chocolate War. In chapter 23 Goober told Jerry that he is quiting the football team at Trinity High school. Then in chapter 24 Brother Leon called Archie on the phone. Brother Leon told Archie that the chocolate sale is way down from last years sale. He told Archie for the Vigils to take over the sale. Also to make Renault sell the chocolates, so kids follow him.

When I first started this book I thought it was really boring, but after a couple chapters it started to get good. I just read about how Brian Cochran was looking over the totals for the chocolate sale, and they were down from last years sale. He knew brother Leon was not going to be happy about this. When they were looking over the totals they found that Renault never took his share of the chocolates.
