Seriously, this book will score * because I can't give 0. Fucking awful. Racism, overuse of !!!! And grammar that makes even the uneducated grimace. For the love of god make the suffering stop! I don't think I'll finish this book.

I don't think I've ever updated this much but..... So many !!!!! Every time someone speaks it has at least one ! In there. It's distracting and frustrating. Are these guys really !!!!! An um? The books driving me nuts. Especially with the mix of present and past tense in one paragraph. How the hell has this book got 4.8 stars?

It's not making sense, I can't find the story, if your comrade falls why aren't you helping him to his feet? Also, why are all the capitals in Bold?

The language is awfully plain. 'Person' instead of insurgent/soldier/security, anything other than person. Then there are the paragraphs that use a word then include the definition. It's almost insulting to the reader. I recognise the target audience, and it's almost as if a young teen wrote it. It's written by an adult though. I normally enjoy YA, but I'm not convinced this will meet the cut.
