One shocking moment was when John Fitzgerald didn’t give out any information. This was shocking because he was tortured on a daily basis. The japanese had tried to torture information out of Fitzgerald, clubing jamming knives under his finger nails, tearing his fingernails off, and pouring waster up his nose until he passed out. Fitzgerald had never broken.” (152) This was shocking because it must have been painful.

One shocking part was when the Green Hornet crashed into the ocean. Both of the engines were cut off and they crashed. "Green hornet stabbed into the ocean and blew apart." (99) This was shocking because they were in the middle of no where and the plane crashed.

One surprising moment was when they found the Super man crew dead. They found the plane at the bottom of the ocean. "Later that morning the plane was found, lying on the ocean floor just offshore. All ten crewmen were dead." (69) This was shocking because Louie knew them and they ere friends.

One surprising moment was when Louie tied with Don Lash for 5,000 meter. He tied with Don to go to Berlin for the Olympics. "Judges called it a tie... will run harder in One surprising Berlin." This was shocking because he was only 19 and made it to the Olympics.
