I wish "The Terror of the Water Tank" was more terrifying.Hodgson gave away that the monster lived in the water tank on the first page, but didn't have any tantalizing, vague speculation as to what it was. And then even after it was killed the reader only knows that it resembled a tapeworm and pretty much nothing else. Poor form.
