But listen. She’s got a spanish last name I think. She’s bi? And she works at NASA. And she’s kinda matter of fact about things. This might be the least sucky of the three FMCs. but I have just started and we’ll see how quickly that goes down the drain.

As someone who frequents reddit I cannot stress this enough: lady. stop mentioning it. I read for escapism and to get out of r/nosleep. not to be reminded of the toxic ass forums

Just used this book to kill a ginormous ant so it was of some use (it took three hits and i felt bad the poor guy was writhing :( should've taken only one)

Every now and then I catch myself exhibiting behaviours that make me wonder: am I a masochist? Do I like seeing myself suffer? Should I get therapy for these self-sabotaging behaviours? Have I gotten used to doing things that make me feel icky and uncomfortable? Should I work on improving that about myself?

Reading this book is one of those things. Why do I do this to myself?
