"If you quit because you're ahead or behind, then you are really just delaying the results of your next hand until your next session. For example, you win 20 bets in a sesh and you leave the table so as to not lose again. You are not protecting those bets in any way, because you'll have to put some of them at risk next time. Delay doesn't matter, you still risk losing it unless you plan on quitting completely"
