I have five pages to go and then only the brief "Jason's Quest" section. I do not want to rush reading this special looking children's book that I managed to procure. It was fine to read Clara Thomas' essays of the novels I have not read yet because they are dense enough to leave my own discoveries to me in the future. "A Bird In The House" and "The Deviners" are left. I'll likely read "Jason's Quest" in between.

Clara Thomas herself was a marvelous, profoundly astute writer. I am glad to be reading both these women's words in concert.
