I'm really tired of the "let's sleep together and then immediately fight over something semi-ridiculous even though we are adults" trope because while I understand there needs to be /some/ conflict and things can't just be super happy after they get together and work out perfectly but this gets so old. At least, there was an attempt to talk things out before completely ignoring each other's feelings.

I knew it… but I’m glad Emily found out this early in the story and this wasn’t used for an awkward interaction way too late in the book
