Firda Mein Gott, mein Gott, mein Gott! I can't believe myself that I've finished one story so far, reading it in German no less! Yes, yes, yes, it's a measly one story count, and I glossed (a lot) while reading it, losing so many grasps on the details (only leaving big, hazy outline). In one hand I wanted to just continue reading, but in another hand I thought that I shouldn't rush at all (nothing to lose any way with not rushing), besides why not reading it again, this time while also checking words I read in dictionary? There is a reason why I glossed anyway, just so you know, reading a material in a foreign language by always checking the unknown words in the dictionary all the time is tiring (and blocking your reading flow too). Glossing, on the other hand, does not disrupt your reading flow, and you still can get the whole notion of the reading material (with the expense of losing the details you read, therefore potentially losing important informations too). So I think, that I've now done reading the first story (Der Tod in Venedig), I think what I'll do next is rereading the first story (while also continuing glossing the second story).
