Jayson
Jayson is on page 139 of 154

Notes:
(1) Surprisingly, a much smaller scale than its cinematic source material.
- With something like Batman, you'd expect it would be limited to Gotham City. Perhaps because of the flying aspect, you'd expect Superman to be more global.
(2) The plot here is quite similar to Grant Morrison's "Action Comics" run.
- Possibly it's all rooted in some lore I'm unfamiliar with.

Jayson
Jayson is on page 73 of 154

Notes:
(1) This really does a great job of capturing the spirit and charm of the Donner films.
- Ostensibly, it's just the standard Superman plot of some monster attacking Metropolis, but being in the Donner milieu gives it a different flavor.
(2) Presuming this takes place after "Superman II," and the other films never existed, the Clark/Lois dynamic takes on added layers.

Notes:
(1) I've just finished "Batman '89" and so I figured there's no better time to read this than now.
(2) With books like this, I wonder whether likeness fees are involved.
- I know that Gary Frank quite blatantly drew Christopher Reeve and Margot Kidder as Clark and Lois during his "Action Comics" run.
- The difference here is this is explicitly about the Donner films.
