You should have a dictionary, and a Bible to cross reference, when reading this book. Not to check facts, but to understand/clarify what Pope Benedict is discussing. So far, I'm not sure if he's justifying his theory of Jesus' existence or teaching biblical history. Maybe both? Interesting reading, never the less. Even to an agnostic such as myself.
