this has been an emotional rollercoaster i've been so busy so i haven't had a chance to commit to just finishing it but i'm also so glad that i haven't because i want to savor what's left. it's so interesting so far because powers has a very white man way of writing his poc characters that i find interesting in contrast with how incredibly beautiful and emotional his nature writing is.
