This four parter gives a great origin tale of how the Transformers came to earth and befriended the humans on the old cartoon show. The canon holds up well, but the pop references will take you off guard, at times. Some might see them as welcome nostalgia. It's wordy, as many books from 80's are, but an interesting read, particularly for fans.
