Ok so not only is this guy cheating on his wife with some doctor, he ALSO bonks the girl half his age! What a CATCH!

The amount of infantalising of Jane is really disgusting. Always calling her "young woman" and drawing attention to her breasts and "small hands". It's nauseating. Why can't some men just be normal? There are male writers, and then there are... Male Writers. Ballard is obviously the latter.

I'm struggling so much with this. The characters all act completely insane one sentence to the next, the MC moves around from one place to the next seemingly by teleporting???? and good bloody grief if I have to read another word of him lusting after the girl half his age I'm gonna have a stroke
