This book was hard work. Contemplated giving up quite a few times around the 1/3 to 1/2 way mark. Persevered through not that it got much better. It did improve somewhat at the 2/3 mark. It felt like reading an old series. The story telling was sometimes obscure and had no idea what the author was waffling about. Found it astonishing a book like this was part of the school curriculum in year gone by. Poor students.
