update: picked up Solenoid again

tempted to just have a break from this book. the tendrils of disappointment are slowly crawling in; i much prefer his ‘nostalgia’, where the narrative is much more focused than the bloated mess that is ‘solenoid’

stuck between fascinated, perplexed and frustrated. like a highly elaborative Pessoa-Borges. the meaning behind the incessant references to human anatomy escape me: if not to ground the reader to reality in what’s otherwise a stream of one man’s derealisation episodes…
