Snow wars. What a small thing that creates large emotions.

Fear has to fade to truly see the life in front of you, you’re supposed to live.

“Men say one thing, and women’s minds fill in gaps of meaning. Women say one thing aloud and another silently, and they expect men to hear through the deafening sounds of the silence they hear and the screaming inside women’s heads. If you care for a woman and what she thinks of the words from your mouth, take care in choosing them.” Teren and the reader will learn a lot from Mara if the book keeps this up.

There is already so much going on in this book but Mara gives you hope. And everything happens for a reason.
