Thanks for the recommendations! I'm loving all zombies movies and the tv series the walking dead so I definitly want to try reading some books of this genre! :-)

You know, that's a good question. Seems like the market got so saturated the past couple of years. I know much of that is due to the popularity of "The Walking Dead" on TV and "Warm Bodies" as a film.I know that I HAVEN'T read some of the other popular series yet, like the "Newsflesh" series or the "As The World Dies" series. I have read a few others like the "Surviving The Dead" series by James Cook, and others that I either can't recall or didn't list here on GR. And those were just...ok.
"The Forest of Hands and Teeth" was decent for a YA zombie book, and Stephen King's "Cell" had some interesting things going on. "The Angels are the Reapers" had a different approach to it, like a classic literature novel which happens to have zombies in it. It's not for everyone though, as it's not your standard "horror" zombie book.
So yeah...all over the map! I do want to check out Hugh Howey's "I, Zombie" at some point.
