I’m gonna do a little guess about what might happen (I’m not the best at guessing plots but oh well!).
I think that Tom is Charlie’s best friend who died and just because Tess can hear and “feel” her grandmother who died she’s able to see and communicate with Tom.
Is this right? Most probably not but it’s fun to guess😅
