all of a sudden and plot happened, bless. Not sure why the foreshadowing was so vague it was nonexistent, but that's fine. The real issue at the moment is that absolutely no character has an actual personality. Like straight up I can't even call these characters "flat" because they're essentially just plot devices running around. Love stories tend to work best when characters have a personality to fall in love with.

As of now, I'm just kind of bored? Like there are legit no stakes right now? The plot so far is, "you're stuck in this house forever" and aside from some random faeries in the forest, there's so far literally no conflict other than Feyre wanting to leave and then being told AGAIN that she can't. Like it's been happening for like ten chapters now.

Do I expect to enjoy this? No, not really. But I need to understand the hype.
