So I had to readjust my thinking towards this book . It was published in 2016. So the references to iphone7, type of clothing, cars & music is really taking me out while also being key reference for that time. So I get the choices. I don’t them but it get it. Still not rocking with that 10yr age difference.

Oof this is starting off rough and not in a good way. Some parts are good while others use very old cliche tropes. The POV is written badly.The description of pole dancing /strippers is lacking creativity. Trauma of being assaulted then saved by the main guys is icky. The age gap too sent me 22 female to 30 ish male. ick.
