I agree with Barr’s main points in this book and surely this was an important topic. However, the way she structured her arguments felt quite haphazard to me, causing me to be confused at times. She included lots of her own experience as a woman in the church, which was helpful at times, and others, felt just ill-disposed and cheapened some of her otherwise-good arguments
