Tick tock....is the watchword. Makes me speed read it. This is the first time I'm "skip reading" a novel, where I read maybe the title sentence of each paragraph. I'm interested in early Dean Koontz works.....as I recetly finished "Innocence" a later work....and wanted to see how he has evolved in his writing.

Lots of surprises....but one thing stands out, Koontz is a master of the descriptive narratve.
