I think that this book is still very good so far, I hope that Beverly can grow up and be able to be free. I feel bad for the person that is going south and whipped because he is going to cotton fields where it is very hot and not really good conditions to live in. But hopefully, at the end of this book, they can all be free and not have to deal with slavery anymore.

I think that the book is really good so far, it is very interesting especially when James Habbard got whipped again because it shows how much Beverly has grown up throughout this book.

Beverly finally learned how to play the violin. He had a lesson for Jesse Scott. I think he is going to become really good at playing the violin and then Master Jefferson is going to come back and then ask him to play. And Master Jefferson will like it and let him play in the Great House. Overall so far, this book is a great book and very interesting.
