The girl was on Mr. Hartman's property, which Mr, Hartman hates. The girl is a mystery, it is either Pitch or Savannah. "There she stood, bold as brass on his property." (145) Bold as brass means someone is confident with there disrespectfulness. The girl was very satisfied because she was creating a distraction so the others could get into Heartless' house. It was all part of the plan!

Griffin, Savannah, Ben, Logan, Pitch, and Mr. Hartman are very determined to get back Melissa's Hover Handler. The group of friends want it for Melissa's sake but Mr, Hartman wants it to put an end to the government's shenanigans. They will stop at nothing to get that back. I think this book teaches you to be loyal, and that not doing anythng will get you nowhere. You have to take action if you want it to happen.

I didn'tt know what Seldom meant. "Mr. Hartman left his house so seldom that non of them had ever seen his car." (158) I think this is an Anotnym Clue because between the word seldom are two opposite things. I think Seldom means unregularly, or not usually.

Ben was trapped in Mr. Hartman's new "lair" thing that was under construction. He hid and was terrified when Mr. Hartman entered the room during a mission. "The half door opened, and the stooping figure of Mr. Hartman ducked inside. Ben was galvanized into frantic action." (122) Ben did his best to be calm during his adventure. But he was excited because he had finally found Mr. Hartman's construction project.
