tbh im kinda puzzled but i like some of the stories a lot !

finished the first story and BOY is marriage miserable yet so yearned for. i rly like Ms. Lessing’s way of writing and found myself not too confused whilst reading the story (im a bit of a beginner reader). in the beginning i felt a bit eh for the older man because it was so obvious he did not love her like that but then it all flipped and oof;;;;; painful
