2/3 Finished! Feeling bold and predicting it’ll be out by mid April 🎉
How to sum up without spoilers? 🤔
Much banter!
DUN DUN DUN!
Story time.

Never did like the Emyn Muil.

All on my own.

Well, allergies set me back a ways. But I’m aiming to catch up over the next week or two!
Love all the banter in the past couple chapters! So many relationships developing 😊 A few significant reveals 😉 And some terrifying flame sprites 🔥🌸

Halfway done!
And it’s Into the Woods we go. Adventure. Intrigue. Mirkwood vibes. And some pretty awesome creatures if I do say so myself 😊
Fun fact: When this book was in its conceptual phase, drama department put on that musical. To say I fell in love would be a gross understatement. I was mildly obsessed with it the rest of the year. Actually, my original title was a long convoluted reference 😅

Chapters 7-9 are finished!
Honestly, this set has always given me trouble. It’s an odd mix of rising adventure and slower discovery as Giselle enters a world she knows nothing about.
I admit, I didn’t pull it off as smoothly as I would have liked. I really fought the urge to self edit while narrating 😅 But there are still some scenes I really like. A literal walk down memory lane, for example 😉

Chapter 6 Done!
So many secrets coming to light in this set. With a couple cozy scenes and awkward flirting thrown in for good measure 😉
Also, may I just note: frequent switching from external dialogue to internal dialogue and back again makes so much more sense on paper🙈Like, how do you make italics with your voice?! I hope no one comes away seriously confused by this thing 😅

Finalized the first three chapters!
Things I should really consider when writing:
*One day, some poor soul will need to perform this.
*And it may be me.
*Is a hissing/growling monster & several distinct male voices really a great idea?
Let’s just say it’s been a rough start 😅
But I’m loving meeting my characters again! The doorstep dance scene still makes me smile 😉
