Apparently stretching before running overextends the muscles and can lead to injury... Nothing written about stretching afterwards yet though.. Also, intervals are most efficient. (of course) And, massage doesn't reduce lactic acid around muscles after exercise, it actually reduces blood flow and isn't necessarily beneficial other than psychologically.
