Why couldnt SJM focus on making this feel more like an Eros & Psyche/East of the Sun, West of the Moon retelling rather than Beauty and the Beast? Because lowkey?? She excels at adapting the former two tales, and it really works for this story, especially in the 3rd act!! ....Rhys is now just creepy tho.

How can I ship Feyre and Rhys when Rhys coerces her into a deal by twisting her broken arm?? AND HE DOES THIS UNDER NO ONE'S INFLUENCE BUT HIS OWN????? ...and they say romance is dead jfc

-WTF was the Calanmai plotline??? I have uhhh thoughts.
-Rhysand has the perfect set up to be a scary asf villain, not a love interest
-this pacing is so boring and painfully slow
-Tamlin and Feyre have no chemistry....the two of them, respectively, have more chemistry with Lucien than each other. Hell, why not make them a throuple???🤨🤨 because THAT I'd ship

So:
- Feyre is dumb and deserves death
- I LOVE Lucien <3
- why couldn't Tamlin remain more like his beast form, making this more of a BATB retelling? I literally imagine him looking like Legolas but JACKED
- SJM is lazy as fuck with her world building. ex.- Lucien saying capital 'h' Hell, as in Christian Hell; underutilizing fae lore so now they're either underdeveloped spectral entities or LOTR elves... BORINGGGG!!
