Stabile's integration of Christian prayer & Buddhist meditation is thoroughly inspiring. Thomas Merton would be proud. As a lifelong Christian who knows Jesus as my savior & ultimate role model, from an early age I was drawn to the cogent psychology & calming/restorative meditation of Buddhist tradition. The audiobook is quite helpful as well. Thank you, Susan Stabile.

A must read for anyone seeking a deeper relationship with God through prayer and meditation. I am a lifelong Christian who knows Jesus to be my savior & ultimate role model in this life. At the same time from an early age I found great wisdom in the Buddhist understanding of human psychology and meditative techniques. Stabile's effort would make Thomas Merton proud. The audiobook is delightful as well.

I am listening to the audiobook. I have heard the Introduction & Chapter One. The author quite lucidly puts into words sentiments I hold but have not been able to elucidate. Great read thus far. I have ordered the book that I might might make notes and mark highlights for closer study.
