Okay. So. Not a fan. It reminds me of the John Saul and Christopher Pike books I read in middle school. I was really excited for this one because of the reviews. And I will struggle through the rest because The Deep is on my tbr and I really want to live it. Mind you, I was not into Stephen King for like a decade despite him having 4 spots in my top 20 ......and Fairy Tale was incredible. So I hope this gets better.
